So we are obviously selling our house in order to lower our monthly costs and to balance out Johnathan and me working and family time. So these are the pictures I took because I wasn't thrilled with the ones the realtor took. Unfortunately by the time I was able to take these pictures the sun was going down so I couldn't use natural light so it makes our walls look pink, but at least our dirty washclothes are not in the pictures. Any constructive criticism to help lure a buyer?

The Tree of Life
Here's a paragraph I enjoyed in our reading with Elton in "The Tree of Life."
"God presented Himself to man in the form of food. This can be clearly seen in the Gospel of John. John tells us that in the beginning was the Word, the Word was God, and in Him was life. One day He performed a miracle by feeding five thousand people with five barley loaves and two fishes. Then the people wanted to make Him a king. But He did not take that offer. He later told them that He came not to be a king to rule others outwardly but to be the bread of life to be eaten. He came that we may eat Him. The Lord does not want us to consider how to serve Him, how to worship Him, or how to glorify Him, but He wants us to consider Him as our food. He came to present Himself to us as life in the form of food. We have to take Him as food by feeding on Him and eating Him. "He who eats Me shall also life because of Me" (John 6:57)."
"God's intention is that man would simply take God Himself as his food, that man would feed on God."

I love this photo because it shows her stoic side. For example, at walmart when people say, "oh she's so cute" and smile at her, she doesn't smile back. It's pretty funny. She just has this look on her face, like "And? Are you expecting something to happen because you keep on looking at me?" So, usually I end up leaning down and smiling at her so they can see her adorable smile.

So I realize that we haven't updated the blog in about a month now, but things have been busy. I started back to work two days a week (same job at the hospital) and things haven't changed...I still don't like it! :) Too long, too hard, too many patients for a nurse with little patience . I'm reminded of what Cherith says that Danny tells her, "it's not called WORK for no reason." But Isabelle does so well with Johnathan when I am gone. And that is such a comfort to me. He gives her a bottle (in the same chair we nurse in, in the same position, every three hours-I made sure he understood to hold her close to his chest when he gives her the bottle so she feels comforted), bounces her to sleep, and takes her places for activity. She is doing something so adorable right now. She is laughing and smiling at herself in the mirror. It's so funny because right as she sees herself she gets this adorable smile and then starts to talk and then laugh at herself. It's so hilarious. The first day I worked I came home and started crying when I saw her. I miss her a lot when I am gone, but it's gotten a lot easier as she has gotten older. I don't worry as much, I guess. Anyways, we have some pictures we will upload soon. She is growing all the time!

Big Days Out
There was too much excitement for these girls. A big day - first to the coffee shop with all the cousins - then to the park; we need a nap.
Cousins Izzy and Eden, looking very cute (as per usual) in their matching sleepers.
Another day, at the zoo, we see a baby monkey. He also wears a diaper, uses a pacifier, and has a teddy bear.
We got about halfway through the zoo before we needed a nap.
