Speaking of beautiful gifts...

Johnathan gave me this beautiful aqua marine and diamond ring at the hospital after I delivered Izzy. He certainly knows me well...I love it! Aqua marine is the March birthstone. Maybe my next baby (makes me cringe just to say it!) will be born in April...the birthstone is diamond! :)

Who Can Resist Her?

Aunt Natty captured this smile with her phone...TOO ADORABLE!

Mom and Izzy's Day Out

This afternoon Izzy and I decided to get out of the house for a little bit all by ourselves since daddy was at work. We went over to Aunt Cherith's to eat gluten free cashew chicken Aunt Natalie had made since she is visiting with sister Bethany. It was so yummy! Izzy did perfect in her car seat and got lots of lovin' from her aunties when we got there. It wasn't until we got home that she decided she was exhausted and had a meltdown :) That's okay...she is still sooo sweet! Over all it was a good trial run for future outings.

Nap Time

Mom and Izzy enjoy a well-deserved nap after a morning visit to the doctor, a short trip to Panera, and a big lunch (for Izzy).

Too sweet.

Bath Time

Izzy's second sponge bath begins...she is stirring and stretching. Daddy directs this bath...

She is deciding she doesn't really enjoy sponge baths after all, but we continue.

It's so cold!

It's so nice to be wrapped up in Daddy's arms! What a sweet and clean baby!

Izzy Day 4

Gabby is interested to see who Mom is holding.

She quickly decides that she doesn't like it.

Gabby says, "This is a much better arrangement."

At day 4, Izzy likes a full tummy of milk...

...followed by a big nap.

When she wakes up, she is so alert and sweeter than ever.

Isabelle's Arrival

Isabelle Cate was born on March 6th, 2009 at Washington Regional Medical Center. She weighed in at 7lbs 2oz and was 19.5" long.

She's so sweet.

She quickly learns how to tell the world that she is hungry...

...and likes to take naps with a full belly. Even with food on her chin.

Grammy and Nana can't get enough.

Poppy and Papa are very proud.

Auntie Angel says "she's so cute!"

Uncle Danny and Aunt Cherith smile either at Izzy or because now they can share in all the episodes that come along with the new baby.

Ryan and Natalie are extatic.

Who will be the favorite?

Everyone loves to stop by to see Izzy's arrival.

Entry 001.000

Izzy is on her way tomorrow; maybe even tonight!
